The MNN events calendar is an integration of the Google calendar API into the site. This allows users to submit calendar dates. These dates and events can be moderated or left to open posting. Any event posted to the calendar shows up in every users calendar, so long as they are utilizing the Google calendar and subscribe to various event listings.
